Mills, Ethelyn Joan, age 86, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Clark Retirement Community. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 17 at Rossell Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Ortonville Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to United Methodist Women or Hospice of Michigan.
Ethelyn was born on May 7, 1932 to John and Sarah Breinager. She married Glenn Mills on June 27, 1953 at Millington Methodist Church. Throughout her life, Ethelyn was active in the church and Farm Bureau.
Ethelyn is survived by her children, Sheila (Jerry) Vanderwyst, Carol (Mark) McDonald, William Mills, and Susan (Dennis) Halso; grandchildren, Brian (Regina), Joe, Katelyn, Rebecca, Aaron, Ryan, Robert, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Vivian, Lyla, Rose, and Camden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn. |
