WOODS, Gail Marie (Sage) – of Davison, age 67, passed away September 17, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the funeral home. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Gail was born in Fremont, MI on February 6, 1949, daughter of the late Gordon and Myrtle (Long) Sage. She married Ronald P. Woods on May 10, 1979. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2015. She was a proud graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1967. Gail was a member of the Buick Club of America and the Flint Folk Music Society. She also enjoyed creating stained glass art, painting, traveling, shopping and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her 6 children, Christopher (DeAna) Woods, Candi (Chris) Roberson, Scott (Dianne) DeLong, Rebecca (Dinh) To, William (Kelly) Woods and Kathleen (Dean) Lingenfelter; 13 grandchildren, Christopher II and Morgan Woods, Amber (Jeff) Dietlein, Chelsea Roberson, Brooklynn and Colby DeLong, Lyla and Ava To, Lawrence and William Woods, Joel and Shelby Lingenfelter and Dakota Shultz; 2 great-granddaughters, Madilynn and Myleigh Dietlein; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jake Olmstead.
