SZABO, Alice Mae – of Millington, MI, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 4-7 PM at the Davison Missionary Church, 1481 N Gale Rd, Davison, MI 48423. The family would like to welcome you to a graveside service at the Millington Cemetery in Millington, MI on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Gift of Life.
Alice was born in Flint, MI on June 19, 1938, daughter of the late Harry Alfred and Neva Elizabeth (Allen) Roat. She married William Szabo on April 4, 1981 in Burton Michigan. While spending time with her family was a passion, she also loved the casinos and went whenever she could. She had amazing baking skills and her apple pies were legendary.
Alice is survived by her four children, Kathleen (David) Finch, Louis Foust, Lawrence (Stephanie) Foust and Matthew (Donna) Foust. Alice was affectionately known as GG to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two siblings, Mildred Heath and Darrol (Cheryl) Roat, and many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Szabo, grandson Kristopher Finch; two sisters and four brothers.
