GEORGE, Kenneth Joseph - age 89, of Flint, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 Cherry St., Flushing. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Flushing Christian Outreach Center (www.flushingchristianoutreach.org) or Absolute Home Health and Hospice (www.absolutehhh.com). Kenneth was born June 6, 1928 in Flint, the son of Joseph Raymond and Thelma Mary (Beaubien) George. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War and retired from General Motors. Surviving are: brother, Raymond George of AZ; two sisters-in-law, Sandra George and Mary Ann George, both of Flushing; many nieces and nephews.
