LIPP-MILES, Katie Lynn – of Flint, MI, age 36, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 4 PM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Edward Kerr officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 and 3-4 PM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Down Syndrome Society, Autism Speaks or the Humane Society of Genesee County, in Katie’s memory.
Katie was born in Flint, MI on March 18, 1983, daughter of Gregory Lipp and Lisa (Osborn) Kerr. She married Matthew Allen Miles on October 20, 2018. Katie was a graduate of Mt. Morris High School Class of 2002. She enjoyed hunting, camping and spending time outdoors. Katie’s motto was “Guns, hunting and big trucks”.
Katie is survived by her husband, Matthew Miles; daughter, Kaylee Rose Lipp; father, Gregory Lipp; mother, Lisa Kerr; 3 siblings, Greg (Melissa) Lipp II, Autumn Kerr and Jonathan Kerr; grandmother, Nancy Osborn; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edwin Osborn, Eugene and Florence Lipp.
