Taylor, Avanell - of Clio, age 93, died Sunday, August 31, 2017, at Medilodge of Montrose. Private interment will take place at 1 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Flint Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Avanell was born April 21, 1924, in Marmaduke, Arkansas to the late James and Rosa Lee (Thomas) Johnson. She married Byron Taylor on October 4, 1941 in Rector, Arkansas. He preceded in death on December 31, 2011. She had resided in the Clio area most of her life. Avanell was employed by TG&Y Department Stores for several years. She enjoyed flower arranging in her spare time.
Surviving are: 2 daughters: Patsy (Bruce) Hunt of Clio and Gatha Buckey of Clio; Grandchildren: Mark (Tina) Hunt, Staci Crane, Todd (Tracy) Ingram and Wendy (Dave) Beggs; Great grandchildren: Brian Hunt, Andrew Crane, Nicholas Crane, Sarah Beggs, Dustin Ingram, Taylor Ingram, and Zachary Ingram; Great-great granddaughter, Adrienne Beggs.
