MCILROY, Lois E. - Of Burton, age 83, born on October 9, 1933, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her residence.
Visitation 11am Thursday, January 5, 2017 until the time of the service at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road at 2pm, Pastor Brian Oswald officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Lois was Nurse Aide for several years until she became a hairdresser in the Flint area for several more years, until she retired.
She is survived by her husband, Autrey McIlroy of 49 years;
3 sisters, Darlene, Georgia and Faye;
5 children, Kathy, Terry, Tony, Roxanne and Mary Jo;
2 step-daughters, Tammy and Regina;
adopted granddaughter, Wyntr;
several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father; brother and six sisters.
Lois, my wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother very loved and will be truly missed.
