Suzanne Ellen Jay, age 76, of Millington died April 22, 2019 at McLaren - Flint with her loving family beside her.
Suzanne was born January 11, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edward and Dorothy Jay. She later married Howard C. Opperman on April 5, 1991.
Suzanne was a member of Rebekah Lodge #168 in Millington, she enjoyed shopping, working in her flower gardens, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Suzanne is survived by her husband Howard, children: Georgie (Linda) Myers, Karl Myers, Billy Myers, Trisha (Brad) Booth, Jim (Wanda) Myers, Jennifer (Al) Giraud, Kyle (Sarah) Opperman, siblings: Diane (Hillard) Shackford, Dorothy (Roger) Broadworth, Ira (Laura) Ewald, Cindy (Jim) Goff, Holly (Bill) Bostic, Kathy (Lee) Ferris, Eugene Ewald, James Jay, Carol (Rick) Frink, Bob (Karen) Ewald, grandchildren: Nick, Trevor, Jessica, Brandon, Sean, Justin, Nathan, Issac, Kyle, Hannah, Barbara, david, great-grandchildren: Elena, William, Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Edward, Gary, Mary, Joanne, daughter-in-law Heather, nieces Roxanne and Tamara.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Suzanne’s Life will take place 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the family home [3901 Birch Run Road].
