IRELAND, Dorothy “Janet”- Of Flint, age 86, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
The Rev. Dr. Todd A. Biermann officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be directed to the Genesee County Library for the Blind.
Visitation 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Janet was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on July 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Percy and Dorothy Sanders. She was a secretary in the Flint/Carman Ainsworth School Districts. Janet was a member of Tai Chi Club of Burton Senior Center.
Surviving are daughter, Rae Litwicki;
son, Hugh;
daughter, Leslie (Mike) DeMarco;
8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, brother, Wayne Sanders and sister, Roma Rae Sanders.
