Mildred was born on October 31, 1920 to Joseph and Luella (Brabb) Hinton in Hinton, West Virginia. She married Robert Crawford on December 6, 1946 in Flint; he predeceased her in 2011.
Mildred worked as a production worker for AC Sparkplug. Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, canning, weaving, and other arts and crafts. She was an animal-lover, especially of dogs, and she loved reading her Bible every single day.
Mildred is survived by her son, Stan (Abea) Crawford, her granddaughter, Wei Li Crawford, and her brother, Wyatt K. Hinton.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert, her sister, Mary Jane Moore, and her sister-in-law, Virginia Hinton. |
