Clair G. Slick, 88, of Kalkaska, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at his home. He was born on June 29, 1922 in Missaukee County to the late Russell and Nina (Fox) Slick.
Clair served his country honorably during WWII as a proud member of the US Army. He retired from Ford Motor Division at Dearborn Engineering after 19 years of service. Clair loved the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 8684.
Clair is survived by his children, George Slick of South Boardman, Paul (Mary) Slick of Rapid City, and Cindy (Dan) Halagan of Kalkaska; his sister, Maxine Freeman of Florida; his brother Harley (Joan) Slick; his dear friends Brian and Denise Robinson of Kalkaska; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Brooks) Slick; and his children; Clair Kenneth Slick, Chris Dover Slick, and DeETt Watts.
