HILL-WRIGHT, Vivian R. – of Clio, died on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Sarah LaRose officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-7PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM. Contributions may be made to the Birch Run United Methodist Church, Grace Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
Vivian was born on October 3, 1927 in Birch Run to the late Carl and Emma (Cuddy) Morse. She married James Wright in May 1987. Vivian retired from Ternstedt in 1982 with over 25 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #326. She was a member of the Birch Run United Methodist Church and a past worthy matron of the Eastern Stars in Clio. Vivian enjoyed crocheting, knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing Bingo.
Surviving are: husband, Jim Wright; children, Sheila Mills of Clio, Bill (Sharon) Hill of Goodrich; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Sally Calcagno, Becky LaRose, Carol Ann (Tom) McCormick; step daughters, Cindy (David) Partridge, Brenda (Cy) Nikkel; step son, Allen Wright; sisters in law, Mary Ellen Morse of Clio, Mary Lou Morse of Birch Run, Pat Morse of Flushing, Mary Lou Morse of Birch Run; Russ Hartwick and extended special family of nieces and nephews; and many other relatives. Vivian was preceded in death by: her son, Dennis Hill; sister, Betty Cullen; brothers, Carl Morse, LeRoy Morse, Jim Morse, Bill Morse and step son, David Wright.
