MATHEWS, Kimberly Kay – of Montrose, age 56, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 4PM Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Dwight Roteriers officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.

Kimberly was born January 21, 1962 in Flint, Michigan to Monte and Dorothy (Martin) Mathews. She lived in Hale, Michigan for 8 years before moving to Flint, Michigan and graduated from Hamady High School with the class of 1980. Kimberly worked for Panera Bread as a Manager at the Saginaw location and as a General Manager at the Flint location for 8 years. She was a member of The Lighthouse Community Church of Greater Flint. Kimberly enjoyed walking, traveling, sewing and crafts. She also liked to do the Labor Day Walk on the Mackinaw Bridge and the Crim Race in Flint.

Surviving are: Son, Michael (Crystal) Mathews; Grandchildren: Kurstin Mathews, Wyatt Mathews; Great Grandson, Jaxtyn Pinter; Mother, Dorothy Stanard; Siblings: Monte (Zoe) Mathews, Boyce Mathews; Several nieces and nephews; Her animals: Ellie and Kallie. She was preceded in death by her father, Monte Mathews; Step father, Charles Stanard; Brother, Troy Mathews.
