HADDON, June Carol -- Age 92, of Flint, died June 16, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3PM Sunday, June 23 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Pastor Jeff Haddon and Pastor Dennis Tanner III officiating. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Saturday and from 2PM until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.Committal services at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Humane Society of Genesee County.
June was born December 23, 1926 in Detroit the daughter of Richard and Pearl (Roush) Smith. She married Don Haddon on May 27, 1944 in Flint. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved her dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Don Haddon; 2 children, David (Kay) Haddon of Swartz Creek, Cathy (Bob) Laquerre of Dickinson Texas; 5 grandchildren, Chris (Stephanie) Laquerre, Scott (Erika) Haddon, Amie (Michael) Arnold, Jennifer (Pastor Dennis) Tanner, Pastor Jeff (Courtney) Haddon; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Priser of Boynton, FL; sister-in-law Mary Kirk of Holly; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Smith; mother, Pearl Olsen; step father, Cyril Duffey. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
