JENKS, Roger L. – Of Grand Blanc, age 72, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Fenton Healthcare.
Per his request, there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
Roger was born on March 11, 1947 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Robert and Rosalind Jenks.
He married Joann Agnes Knowlton on July 30, 1966.
Roger retired from General Motors V-8 Engine Plant, with over 30 years of service. After retirement he hauled grain for Hunt & Paul Price Farms.
Roger enjoyed reading, boating and drinking.
Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joann Agnes Jenks;
his two daughters, Renee L. and husband Patrick Senters of Grand Blanc,
Dana M. Long and fiancé Timothy Hopper of Canton;
five grandkids, Alyson Senters, Austyn Senters, Zachary Long, Megan Long and Preston Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosalind Jenks and sister, Karen Sue Halstedt.
