PFAFF, Betty Jane - Of Flint, age 86, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on Friday, May 4, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
A memorial service will be held 12 Noon Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint,
Pastor Dave Hintz officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the service.
Betty was born in Flint on May 30, 1931 and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. She married John Pfaff on September 17, 1949 in Flint and he preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Pfaff was employed by AC Spark Plug Division. She was a member of New Testament Church where she and her husband chaired the ministry of Golden Flyers. She then became a member of Central Church of the Nazarene and continued her passion for planning trips and outings for senior citizens. Betty loved her church family and loved listening to Christian Music.
Surviving are son, Kenneth (Joann);
daughter, Carol (Rick) Dahl;
4 grandchildren, Nickolas, Nykole and Kendra Pfaff and Crystal Dahl;
2 sisters, Edith Pyrc and Freda Blunt;
brother, Robert (June) Bernard;
special nephews, Douglas McDonald and Ron Blunt;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Amelia and Leonard Bernard.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Peddireddy and Dr. DeNardo. Betty was the matriarch of our family, and your prayers and love will be sadly missed. Until we meet again, we love you.
