WILSON, Nyla E. – of Clio, age 80, died Tuesday May 5, 2015 at St. Mary’s of Saginaw. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at West Vienna United Methodist Church in Clio. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. Inurnment in Flint Memorial Park at a later date. Family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to the Celiac’s Support Association.

Nyla was born on August 21, 1934 in Harrisville, Michigan to the late Charles and Edna (Byce) Dorr. She resided in Clio most of her life. Nyla married Lloyd F. Wilson on November 14, 1953. He preceded her in death February 6, 2011. She was a member of West Vienna United Methodist Church. Nyla was the past president of the Mid-Michigan Celiac Support Group and a past volunteer with Job’s Daughters International. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, puzzles and playing cards. Nyla also enjoyed canning and spending time outside. Above all, Nyla loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: Son, Lloyd (Cindy) Wilson of Cheboygan; Daughters, Micky Wilson of Clio and Brigett (Louis) Warner of Essex, VT; 3 grandchildren: Micky Jr., Rachael and Daria; 2 great-grandchildren: Ethan and Evangiline; Siblings: Charles (Sally) Dorr, James (Marva) Dorr and Eleanor Dorr; Sister in law, Sandy Dorr. Nyla was preceded in death by: Brother, Jack Dorr; Sister, Juanita Scott and brother in law, Arthur Scott.
