CLARK, Bruce A. – of Flint, formerly of Mancelona, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until time of services at 2PM. Contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice.
Bruce was born October 3, 1925 in Montrose to the late William and Letha (Swears) Clark. He married Mary Kerestes on July 4, 1953 in Saginaw. Mr. Clark retired from Chevrolet Mfg. in 1975 with 30 years seniority. He resided in Mancelona from 1977 to 2008, moving to Flint 2 years ago. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Dye Rd. and the UAW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Surviving are: wife, Mary; 4 children, Janice (Gary) Dressendorfer, Colin Clark, Rozlynn (Phil) Dixon, Kay (Ken) Szostakowski; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jerry (Beverly) Clark, Harold (Margaret) Clark; several nieces and nephews.
