BERRY, William A. – of Davison, age 84, passed away August 30, 2016 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek; Fr. Gene Geromel SSC officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM–1 PM and 3-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Anglican Church.
Bill was born in Flint, MI on January 10, 1932, son of the late Arthur and Florence Berry. He married Beverly Jean Lannon on November 8, 1952 at St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Flint and she preceded him in death on November 30, 2013. Bill was a very active member of St. Bartholomew Anglican Church. He was a Flint area business owner for over 40 years with Berry, Case & Associates, Inc. Bill was a longtime member of the Flint Optimist Club. He was an avid reader, MSU fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his late father-in-law, Ray Lannon.
William is survived by his son, William A. (Debra) Berry; daughter, Mary (Karl) Steiner; grandchildren, Christopher (Shannon) and Caitlin Berry (Tyler Steward) and Erich W. Steiner; great-grandson, William J. Steiner.
