ADKINS, Barbara – Of Flint, age 68, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan on August 19, 1948, the daughter of Roy and Patricia (Donahue) Bingley.
She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino and fishing.
Mrs. Adkins is retired from AC Spark Plug Division.
Surviving are children, Toni Morgan and Amanda Adkins;
grandchildren, Ashley, Arielle, Lance, Austin Diego and Zachary;
7 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Sharon and Irene LeBeau;
sister-in-law, Bobby Bingley;
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Morgan; parents; grandson, Preston; great-grandchild, Brody; brothers, Bill and Dale Bingley.
