Hall, Gordon A. of Flushing, age 79, died Friday, March 13, 2020, at his home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date with interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Reel Recovery or Flushing Presbyterian Church.
Gordon was born in Flint, Michigan on November 7, 1940, the son of Gordon and Bernice (Laur) Hall. He proudly served in the National Guard. Gordon married Jeannette Kay Willyerd in Flint, on July 23, 1966. Gordon was a co-owner and operator of H & D Tuxedo in Flint for 34 years. He was an avid fly fisherman. He was the former owner of Golden Hackle Fly Shop and a Volunteer Coordinator at Reel Recovery. Gordon was a longtime member of Flushing Presbyterian Church and a former member of Boy Scout Troop 115. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 53 years; children, Laura and husband Scott Tonks, Keith and wife Traci Hall, Brian and wife Melissa Hall, Kimberly and husband Kyle Carlson, Eric and wife Laura Hall; 14 grandchildren, Sam, Jonathan, Keiton, Cora, Owen, Emma, Abby, Brenna, Michael, Max, Parker, Ella, Colin, and Adam. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice and father and stepmother, Gordon and Emma. |
