Robert (Bob) Rex West, Sr.
Age 88 from Flint Michigan, formerly of Lakeland, FL passed away peacefully on Feb 7, 2020.
Bob was born in Flint, MI on Feb 14,1931. On Feb 18,1949 he married Ida M York. They lived in Flint and Gladwin MI and Lakeland, FL. He was a 30 year retiree from Flint Fisher Body.
After the passing of his beloved wife Ida in 1997 he met and married Natalie Chisolm in March, 1999. They resided in Lakeland FL and returned to Flint in 2017.
In his younger years he loved to camp, fish and hunt but most of all spend time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Natalie C. West, children Robert R West, Jr., Deborah West, Cynthia West and 5 stepsons, Vaughn, Raymond, John, Wayne and David Chisolm. Also grandchildren Elizabeth Patrick, Christina Gipson (West), Jeffrey Hartwell, William West, Justin Hartwell, Sean West, Brandon Harris and Alicia Povey and 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 8 step-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Ida West, son David West, daughter Gail West and his parents Rex and Anna West.
