Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, December 27, 2013
at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint,
Monsignor Louis Baz officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Visitation 11am-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. An Incensing Service will be held 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Phillip will be at the church 10am Friday until the time of the Mass.
Phillip was born in Lansing, MI on January 10, 1921, the son of the late Sam and Anna Adado. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. On June 15, 1946 he married Frances Jarous at St. Marys Cathedral in Lansing. In 1982 he retired from Buick Motor Division. Phillip was an avid bowler for 70 years, loved to golf and enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Surviving are Daughter, Pam and husband Frank Laureto; Son, Skeeter; Grandchildren, Scott and wife Sheri Petrowski, Troy and wife Jennifer Petrowski, Jennifer and husband Bryan Rye, Phillip Michael Adado, Jr.; Great-grandchildren, Layne, Paige, Jacob, Olivia, Lance and Riley; brother, John and wife Toni Adado; sister, Julia Shaker, Many nieces and nephews;
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances in 2010, parents, brother, Ferris, sisters, Victoria and Mary.
