MILLICAN, Bessie Pauline “Polly” – Of Burton, age 92, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 5, 2013.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Minister Brad Richardson officiating.
Visitation 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Meadowview Memorial Gardens in Davison.
Those desiring may make contributions to Bethany Baptist Church.
She was born in Alabama on November 7, 1920, the daughter of Ervin and Lizzie Price. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, James L. Millican of Florida and his special lady, Gisele;
daughter, Dianne Francis of Michigan;
eight grandchildren, Cindy,
Jason,
Serina,
Jamie,
Gina,
James “Bo”,
Tammy and Nicki;
11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren;
two brothers, Willis Price of Georgia and Nathan Price of Alabama;
many nieces, nephews and their family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 2003; daughter, Pat Zavala, in 2009, sons-in-law, Julio Zavala and Bill Francis, both in 2011.
Thanks to our pastor, Mark Lasley and our family at Bethany Baptist Church for all their love and prayers.
Thanks to Peggy, mama’s hairdresser and dear friend for everything she has done. A special thank you to everyone at Willowbrook Manor for all their love and care and to all the family of nurses serving hospice.
