BLAKE, Margaret M. – age 88 of Flint Township, formerly of Davenport, FL, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 12 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439 with Pastor Larry Burke officiating. Memorial visitation will take place Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 10 AM – 12 PM at Brown Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery following the memorial service. Margaret was born on April 10, 1928 in Flint, Michigan to the late Stanley and Anna (Hanzaryk) Adams. Margaret married Delbert Blake on December 17, 1951. Margaret was an avid Mary Higgins Clark reader, she ended her collection with over 40 novels. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs, especially Falken. Margaret is survived by her two sons: Michael (Janet) Blake and Ronald Blake; grandchildren: Timothy (Heather) Blake and Terry Blake; great-grandchildren: Kelli Blake, Ricky Williams, Emily Blake, and Hannah Blake. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Blake; parents: Stanley and Anna (Hanzaryk) Adams and brother: John Adams. The family would like to thank the staff of Medilodge of Montrose for their care and kindness towards Margaret and a special thank you to Kelly Dulin.
