Neuville, Patricia Ann (Gundry) - Passed, on March 11, 2019, in the most peaceful of ways, at her home surrounded by her family and in the arms of Don and the Lord, her faith was strong to the end. Born March 13, 1936 in Birmingham, MI, the daughter of Ruth (Groves) and Donald Gundry. She attended Linden Community Schools in the class of "54". On September 7, 1957 she married Don Neuville and accompanied Don during five years active duty with the U.S. Army. She and Don raised their family in Linden where she served as pastor's wife at Linden Presbyterian Church from 1965-1997. Patricia worked at Grant's Dept. Store (Mt. Pleasant), General Motors, the Village of Linden's Clerk, and finally the Secretary of State offices in Flint until her retirement in 1998. She had an extraordinary love for all children. Pat cherished worshipping and serving the Lord here and looked forward to life with Him and loved ones in Heaven. She is survived by: husband, Donald; children, Jeff (Sue), Cary, Rod (Tammy), Mark (Loretta), Steve, Jane (Dave); brother Don, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves her family with grateful hearts, aware of the countless blessings and many answered prayers. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Dawn Russell officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden Tuesday from 5-8 PM, Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at Church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Linden Presbyterian Church or Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
