CARTIER, Vern V. - of Whittemore, age 88, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are being planned. Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Vern was born on April, 28, 1926 to the late Theodore and Agnes Cartier. He lived in Whittemore for 40 years coming from Montrose. Vern retired from Buick in 1974 with 30 years seniority and was a member of he UAW Local #599. He enjoyed the outdoors, feeding the wild animals and built heavy equipment which he used to make a pond on his property.
