PINKSTON, DAVID WAYNE – Of Grand Blanc, age 62, died Monday, June 10, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Josh Combs officiating.
Cremation will take place after the Funeral Service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 12 p.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
David was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on June 24, 1961, the son of the late Paul and Geraldine (South) Pinkston.
David graduated from Science Hills High School in Johnson City, Tennessee.
On August 26, 2007 David married Susan Bailey.
He enjoyed playing and watching football, basketball and mowing his lawn.
David loved children and spending time with his family and he also loved going to church.
David was the Assistant Foreman at the Grand Blanc Schools.
Surviving are wife, Susan;
3 brothers, Butch Pinkston, Robert Pinkston and Patrick (Regina) Pinkston;
2 sisters, Debra (Darrell) Honeycut and Tina Davis;
uncle, Bill (Vickie) Mottern;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Phillip and Douglas.
