Thomas Bryant Warren, age 78, of Burton, died June 24, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital at McLaren-Flint.
He was born on September 12, 1945 in Flint, Michigan, to parents Charles & Mary Jean (Barrett) Warren.
He graduated from Lake Fenton High School in 1964, after which he joined the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War on the fleet oiler USS Caliente from 1964 to 1968. Upon returning to Flint, he earned an Associates degree in Applied Science from Genesee (Mott) Community College in 1973 and worked for the Flint Board of Education in various roles until his retirement in 2009.
He is survived by his son, Chad Warren, his wife Allison and two grandchildren, William and Madeleine, all of Bolton, Massachusetts; brother, William Warren and wife Kim of Ft. Myers, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Brenda Clark and her son Dylan. He is preceded in death by his brother Charles; sister Helen Kaye (Grossman); and by longtime partner Barbara Lara. He will be laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery in Flint. Private service will be held.
