Kinkade, Garrett age 74 of Metamora, MI passed away at home with his loving family by his side on July 15, 2020. Family gathering will be held from 9-11:30am, Friday, July 17, 2020 at Dawn Memorial Cemetery, 1569 S. Elba Rd. Lapeer, MI 48446. Graveside service will be held approximately 11:45am with Pastor Daniel Turner officiating. Burial in Dawn Cemetery. Garrett was a loving husband father and grandfather. He ws joined in marriage to Marcelle Payne April 7, 2012 in Lapeer, MI. He loved to watch deer, was a Karate instructor, and enjoyed sports, especially football and basketball. Garrett at one time, was a preacher, loved to box and was a Golden Glove Boxing Champion. He was a highly decorated United States Marine, serving two tours during Vietnam, and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife Marcelle Kinkade, daughter April Moros and her children Jade and Nicholas Moros, son Garrett Kinkade, stepchildren Tony (Jessica) DeLong, Jason DeLong and his children Kaylee, Raghan DeLong, Jason DeLong and his girlfriend Bernadette Wells and her children Breanna and Alaina Wells and Alex and Ciara Mallory, siblings Joe and Darlene. A MASK MUST BE WORN INSIDE THE CHAPEL. |
