SORENSEN, Janice Marie - Of Dallas Texas, age 67, died Monday, April 30, 2018.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
Janice was born in Flint on September 12, 1950. She was a graduate of St. Matthew High School, Class of 1969. Janice received a degree in Journalism from Wayne State University. She was employed with Fidelity Investments. Janice was always there for her family. She loved to write and draw. Janice devoted her life to caring for people. She was kind, patient and a good listener.
Surviving is son, Jeffery Badyna;
sisters, Susan (George) Rasch, Sandra (Allan) Gearhart and Nancy (Danny) O’Dea;
and several nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her father, Frank Sorensen and mother, Marjorie Sorensen.
