Mr. Lown Ruben Lorick began his journey of life September 20, 1959, the son of Cleveland and Millie Lorick. A Family Gathering will be held from 11-3pm, Friday, September 18, 2020 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. PLEASE WEAR A MASK, THANKYOU. He was called from this earthly life Friday, September 4, 2020 at McLaren Hospital. Lown attended Flint Community Schools. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and he was a member of New Life Ministries. He worked for General Motors, was the 'jack of all trades'. Lown spent the majority of his time fishing, hunting, cooking and he had a passion for dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved having conversations and cracking jokes. Lown leaves to cherish his memory daughters Lacey Coleman, Tyiska Hamilton, Artica Lorick, Lownisha Lorick, Amanda Lorick, grandchildren Da'Ka\evion, Juniya, Alee'cya, Shar'briel, Da'lown, Daveon, Music, Dionna; sisters Joanna(Winston) Ross, Detroit, MI and Sunserria(Lawana) Lorick Jr., Hoxseola "Tate" Lorick, all of Flint, a host of nephew's and niece's, other relatives and friend's, including special nephew Michael Lorick and special friend Lorenzo Dockery. Mr. Lorick was preceded in death by parent's Cleveland and Millie Lorick, sister's Arletta Slymon, Kimberly Lorick, brother Gregory Lorick, grandparent's Lown and Ruby Allen and Sylvia Conway, nephew's Ronald and Corey Sylmon. |
