REID, Ann – of Davison, age 78, passed away June 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held 6 PM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Mr. Al Whiting officiating. Cremation has taken place. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John Hopkins University for Pancreatic Cancer Research – checks payable to John Hopkins University or visit www.path.jhu.edu/pc/support.php.
Ann was born in Hamilton, OH on June 13, 1937, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Robertson) Coakes. She married James B. Reid on August 29, 1959. Ann was a graduate of Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was a member of the Davison Country Club, where she enjoyed golfing and socializing. She was also a member of the Flint Farm and Garden Club.
Ann is survived by husband, Jim; children, David Reid, Karen (Dan Patterson) Reid and Lori Reid; five grandchildren, Ashley Neumann, Jacob Reid, Abby Neumann, Kelsey Reid and Georgi Neumann; great-grandchild, Olive Marie; sisters, Joan (Bill) Oviatt and Carol (John) Ducat.
