URECHE, Arthur Eli - age 90, of Swartz Creek, died April 17, 2020 at Regency of Grand Blanc from the COVID-19 virus. Due to social distancing, no services will be held and burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Arthur was born September 24, 1929 in Saginaw, MI, the son of Thomas C. and Vera M. (Fellows) Ureche. He was a 1948 graduate of Dye High School and married Juanita Dee Daley on September 23, 1950. Arthur was a veteran of the Army National Guard and attended General Motors Institute. He retired from General Motors in 1988 as a Tool and Die Maker after 40 years of service. Arthur was a member of the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458 and a life time Shriner. He was a wonderful husband and friend. Surviving are: wife of 69 years, Juanita; and several nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; an infant daughter, Anna Grace; two brothers, Tom and Harold "Bud" Ureche; sister, Geraldine Westphal; nephew, Alan Ureche.
