LAWS, Barbara Louise (Bechtel) - Of Grand Blanc, age 83, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 11:30am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Flint on June 3, 1935. She retired as an elementary teacher after many years for various schools throughout the Grand Blanc area. Barbara loved traveling and spending her winters in Florida. Barbara had a passion for decorating and enjoyed painting. She was a remarkable woman with many talents and she will be dearly missed.
She was beloved mother to son, Timothy Laws who survives her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Laws and parents, James Bechtel and Vivian Clukie.
