WILCOX, Mary J. – of Montrose, age 80, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2-8PM and Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the Crim Fitness Foundation.
Mary was born December 14, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to the late Edward and Josephine (Runge) Ringwelski. She married Earl Wilcox July 23, 1956 in West Virginia. Mary was a secretary with St. Joseph Hospital for over 20 years. She attended St. Roberts Catholic Church in Flushing. Mary loved walking and participated in the Crim for over 15 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and bowling. Mary was a huge Neil Diamond fan.
Surviving are: Husband, Earl Wilcox of Montrose; Children: Robert (Marlene) Wilcox of Mt. Morris, Debbie (Jory) Petiprin of Flint, Keith (Julie) Wilcox of New York, Kim (Virgil) Hammer of Flint, Randy (Linda) Wilcox of Georgia and Michelle (Robert) Empie of Georgia; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Brothers: Ed (JoAnn) Ringwelski and John (Patti) Ringwelski; Sisters: Ann (Joe) Peterson and Irene Ringwelski. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Wilcox; Granddaughter, Amber Wilcox and brother, Doug Ringwelski.
