WARNER, Zachary John – of Flint, age 25, passed away August 11, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012 at East Flint Church of the Nazarene, 3515 N. Belsay Rd., Flint; Pastor Gary Loudermilk and Pastor Ron Sharpe II co-officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 and 5-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Flint Church Sports Complex.


Zachary was born in Flint, MI on November 18, 1986, son of John and Diane (Ingham) Warner. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 2005 and was 1st Team All Conference in Football. Zachary graduated from Oberlin College, Oberlin, OH in 2010 with a Bachelor Degree. He played football at Oberlin where he received league recognition for his playing ability. Zachary enjoyed football, golfing, hunting, biking, running, reading, tennis and intellectual sparing. He worked on Mackinaw Island in the Hospitality Industry.

Zachary is survived by his parents, John and Diane Warner; sister, Hillary Warner, brother, Wyatt Warner; grandparents, Dale and Barb Cruickshank, Robert and Hope Warner; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his church family of East Flint Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Ingham; great-grandma and grandpa Meeker.
