SIMON, Edward Francis – of Flint, MI, age 75, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5191 Richfield Road, Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Ed’s memory.
Ed was born in Flint, MI on September 14, 1944, son of the late John Bernard and Frances (Sitko) Simon. He retired from General Motors in 2005 after 42 years of service.
Ed is survived by his brother, Tom (Ann Marie) Simon; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bernard and Frances Simon.
