Janet Marie Warner
Age 78 of Maple Grove Township passed away on Monday, July 2, 2019 at McLaren Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove with Bishop Jerry Vincke as celebrant and son Deacon Rick Warner as homilist. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Friday, July 5 from 3:00 to 8:00pm with a Vigil service held at 7:00pm.
Janet was born on October 25, 1940 to Ernest and Bertha (LeFave) LaCross in Alpena, MI. She married Charles E. Warner on May 21, 1960; they celebrated 43 years of marriage before he predeceased her in 2003.
Janet worked as a nurse and enjoyed many years caring for the residents at Medilodge of Montrose. For the last few years she was a resident of Medilodge and appreciated the care she received in return. Her favorite activity was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed the family sing-a-longs with the extended family from Alpena.
Janet is survived by her children, Rob (Sheri) Warner, Rick (Patty) Warner, and David (Julie) Warner; her 9 grandchildren, Sarah (Luke) Conklin, Adam (Jamie) Warner, Jessi (Zach) Hiner, Troy (Molly) Warner, Charles Warner, Thomas Warner, Carrie Warner, Anthony Warner, and Barbara Warner; her great-grandchildren, Mara, Graham, Emma, Charlotte, Abi, William, and Baby Boy Warner on the way.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles; her parents, and her siblings.
