SALOMON, Nasim E. – Of Lapeer, age 56, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at McLaren-Lapeer.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Elder Stan Bular officiating.
Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Visitation 3-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Nasim was born in Flint, Michigan on August 4, 1960, the son of Peter and Alice Salomon.
He enjoyed working at the Recreation Center in Lapeer, watching all sports and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving are sister, Janet and husband Andy Abueita of Grand Blanc;
nephews and nieces, Tony and wife Chrissy Abueita of Flushing,
Jacqueline and husband John Timm of Okemos,
Jenny and husband Tony Salsa of Burton,
Jeremy and Michelle Lapeer of Lapeer;
uncle, Samir and wife Emi Abueita of Houston, Texas;
brother-in-law, Mike Lapeer of Lapeer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter; mother, Alice; brother, Basim and sister, Asmahan.
