MOORE, Amy M. (Kimball)- Of Burton, age 83, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Visitation 1-9p.m. Monday, 9a.m.-9p.m. Tuesday and 10a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Amy was born in East Jordan, Michigan on June 21, 1928, daughter of the late Jacob and Alta McKeage and was a resident of Burton for many years. Amy graduated from Flint Northern High School, Class of 1946. She enjoyed watching TV, her cats and spending time with her family, they always were first. Amy retired from General Motors, “Chevy in the Hole” in 1984 and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are six children, Thomas Kimball of Burton, Donald Kimball of Grand Blanc, Louise and husband Clare Richey of Burton, Richard and wife Cynthia Kimball of Burton, Joel Kimball of Flint, and Lorraine and husband Scott Parks of Birch Run;
26 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren;
sister, Vera Allen of Mt. Morris;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Moore, 2 sons, Michael James Kimball and Gerald Wayne Kimball, 3 sisters, Anna Lee McKeage, Edith Hodgeson and Doris Allen, daughter-in-law, Linda Kimball and Brenda Kimball.
