Ms. Diean “Dunbar” Johnson was born October 12,1952 in Frenchman’s Bayou, Arkansas the daughter of the Late Henry and Della Johnson, Jr. She was employed at Valley Residential until her health failed in 2012. “Dunbar” confessed her hope in Christ at an early age at First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville, Arkansas under the leadership of Rev. T.J. Green. She later moved to Flint, Michigan where she united with Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Booker T. Washington. Diean enjoyed travelling, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved to pick fights with her brother John and she was also known for her unique vocabulary when it came to getting her point across. Diean leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Camellia “Me-Me” Johnson, 2 sons: John and Erik Johnson all of Flint, Mi., 11 grandchildren including special granddaughters Etoia (Robert) Stinson and Unique Johnson, 1 great grandson, Jace Stinson, 3 sisters, Bessie Evans of Edmondson, Ark., Stella Washington of Crawfordsville, Ark., and Jennie Johnson of Blytheville, Ark., 3 brothers, Charles (Cynthia) Johnson of Bloomington, Ill., Lee Amos Johnson Flint, Mi., and Larry Johnson of Edmondson, Ark., sister-in-law, Mitchner Johnson, 1 aunt, 2 uncles a host if nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her lifelong companion Bill Rosborough, 3 brothers, Steve Johnson, Sr., James L. Johnson and Albert Lee Johnson, 3 sisters, Erma Jean Dorsey, Paristine Paige and Alice Mae Strickland.
We the family would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to Camellia “MeMe” Coleman who so unselfishly took the responsibility as her caregiver from 2012 until God called her home
