Ruth B. Hocking, 87, of Grawn and Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. She was born on April 29,1923 in Mayfield Township to the late Lawrence and Vila (Wooster) Avery.
Surviving Ruth are her devoted husband, Lloyd; her loving children, Pamela (Thomas) Zaidan of Sterling Heights, Karen (Richard) Powers of Washington, IN, and Scott (Debbie) Hocking of Grawn; 8 cherished grandchildren; and 6 precious great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Ruth will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Munson Hospice House, 210 Beaumont Place, Traverse City, MI 49684.
