Victor Dodak
Age 76 of Burt, MI passed away Monday, May 11, 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at St. Mary's Church of Albee. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00pm.
Victor was born on September 4, 1938 to Anthony and Anna (Toma) Dodak. On August 5, 1961, he married Barbara Anne Townsend in Chesaning. He worked for General Motors for 39 years. Victor was a member of Knights of Columbus and was also a local fireman in Albee. He enjoyed baking pies, hunting, fishing, farming, and golfing, but mostly he loved spending time with his family.
Victor is survived by his children, Beth (Jim) Cianek-Oudman, Mike Dodak (Tina), Mark (Megan) Dodak, and Matt (Cathy) Dodak; his 8 grandchildren; and his siblings, Judy (Tony) Scalisi, Tom (Sue) Dodak, Lewis (Millie) Dodak, Lee (Rebecca) Dodak, Tim (Pam) Dodak, and Gene (Art) Dodak.
He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara, his parents, and his brothers, Paul (Doris) Dodak and Gary Dodak.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Knights of Columbus or the American Cancer Society. |
