Sandra Kay Allen, age 73 of Laingsburg, passed away on Friday March 16, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial service will be held at the Perry Church of the Nazarene on Thursday March 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Timothy Harmon will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Sandra was born in Flint, MI on March 27, 1938, the daughter of Theodore & Isabell (Story) Albee. She graduated from Central High School. On April 19, 2000, she married Harold E. Allen in Franklin, North Carolina. She was a member of the Perry Church of the Nazarene and the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary. Sandra was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Harold, 5 children: Thomas (Pamela) Latting of Flint, Scott (Lucinda) Latting of Flint, Lynne Welch of Morrice, Robert Latting of Chelsea, and Jennifer Priebe of Bay City, 3 step children; Edward Allen of Harrison, Douglas (Christy) Allen of Perry, Kenneth Allen of Morrice, 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and her brother Theodore Ray (Joyce) Albee of Flint.
