Age 67 of Owosso passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Monday July 18, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Tony Nash officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm.
Daryl was born May 20, 1949 in Hart, the son of Beryl and Nancy (Knowles) Peters.
He married Audrey Goad in Corunna on June 30, 1973.
Daryl's true passion in life was farming. He loved everything about "farm life" from tractors and equipment to going to various tractor shows He enjoyed cutting wood, hunting, riding on the sand dunes, and attending car shows. Daryl loved talking to people and sharing his sense of humor by telling stories and jokes. Daryl loved having game night, playing board games and reading but most of all he loved all the time that he spent with his family.
Daryl worked at Bourne Industries as a Millworker and worked for the Independent where he delivered newspapers.
Daryl is survived by his wife Audrey; children Pete Peters and Kimberly Goad/Troy Sells; nine grandchildren - three of which lived near him, Andrew (Danae) Goad and Katelyn Sells; sisters Tona Jonassen, Jeanne (Butch) Morgan and Heidi Peters; brothers Steve (Phyliss) Peters, Beryl "Punk" Peters II and Eric Peters; special sister-in-laws; several nieces and nephews; many loving family and friends and his Bourne Industry family.
He was predeceased by his parents Beryl and Nancy.
