LANG- Eugene Fred – of Davison, age 92, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday January 5, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Rob Prince officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-4 PM & 6-8 PM Friday January 4, 2019. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Davison First Baptist Church or Heartland Hospice.
Eugene was born in Goodrich, MI on August 7, 1926, son of the late Fred and Bernice (Leautorno) Lang. He married Barbara Kiesling on November 4, 1950. He enjoyed attending church and was very active. At the age of 80, he retired from Alta Vista Builders. Eugene loved farming and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Lang; children, Robert (Annie) Lang, Keith (Sandra) Lang, Paul (Mary) Lang; Janis Lang, Linda (Karl) Strine, Susan (Greg) Wright, James (Jennifer) Lang; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon Ann; granddaughter, Amy; sister, Martha Lahring.
