DAVID J. CARDINAL, age 59 of Otisville, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 7:30PM Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 11AM until the time of service. Contributions may be made to the Old News Boys of Flint. David was born on April 23, 1952 to Robert and Della (Foster) Cardinal. He retired from Flint Truck and Bus in 2008. He was a member of UAW Local 598. David enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, and hunting. He played racquetball and volleyball but especially loved playing golf. Surviving are his children: Naaman Cardinal and Amanda (Ben) Eles; good friends: Beverly Gauthier and Mary Jo Cardinal; brothers and sisters: Patrick “Gil” (Bev) Cardinal, Susan (Josh) Swanagon, and Mary Cardinal-Colpetzer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Dan and Bruce. |
