SINGER, Marlene V. – age 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4pm – 8pm with Rosary Service 6pm at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral Mass will be held on November 29, 2017 at 10:30am with one hour of visitation prior to mass, celebrated by Monsignor Jerry Vincke at Holy Family Catholic Church – 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Marlene was born on April 26, 1934 to the late Joseph and Stella (Perla) Mack. Marlene married the love of her life Thomas Singer on September 7, 1957 in Detroit Michigan, together they built a life full of happiness and love. They loved traveling to Florida on family vacations. Marlene loved spending time with family especially while enjoying some of her delicious bake goods. Memories made with friends and family during the holidays, were always very dear to her heart. Marlene was a devoted and very active Catholic. Marlene is survived by her children: David (Kathy) Singer of Marquette, MI, Julie (Timothy) McCarthy of Grand Blanc, MI, Karen (Jaime) Ojeda of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren: Matthew (Brittany) Singer of Marquette, MI, Christopher (Jessica) Singer of Green Bay, WI, Lisa (Kyle) Senn of Green Bay, WI, Megan McCarthy of Houston, TX, Robert McCarthy of Grand Blanc, MI, Jordyn Ojeda and Kaele Ojeda of Woodbury, MN; great grandchild, Peyton Singer of Green Bay, WI; and brother, Robert (Barbara) Mack of Rochester Hills, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Singer and parents, Joseph and Stella Mack. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
