Norma Ruth March of Davison, age 84, died Monday February 16, 2015 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday February 19, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating, burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 3:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Suncrest Nursing Center. Norma was born in Traverse City Michigan on April 24, 1930 the daughter of the late Linus & Elizabeth (Van Dorn) Ray and has resided in Davison since 1966. She was joined in marriage to William March on June 5, 1950 in Mesick Michigan and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2004. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Davison, and a former member of Davison Order of Eastern Stars. Norma had been employed by Davison Community Schools for over twenty years retiring in 1995. Surviving is daughter Monica & Bob Mabrey, grandchildren; Brandy & Brett Haldy, Casey & Renne’ Olson, Sarah Mabrey, and Kara & Dan Carmack. Her great-grandchildren: Maddie and Tommy Haldy, Lily and Luke Olson, Audrey, Kandyn, and Colson Carmack. Son in Law, Bob Olson. She was preceded in death by daughter Theresa Olson in 2001, and son James March in 2012.
